Welcome to the website of Treherbert Band
Based in Rhondda Cynon Taf, South Wales, Treherbert Band operate both a symphonic brass ensemble and Youth & Community Band in Treherbert, Upper Rhondda.
Our symphonic brass ensemble for advanced brass players rehearses every Thursday evening between 7:30 and 9:00pm at the Bandroom located on Upper Taff Street, Treherbert, CF42 5LE
Our Youth & Community Band rehearses at the Bandroom every Thursday during term-time from 6:30 to 7:30pm
New members and visitors are always welcome at both groups: attendance and membership is open to all. The brass ensemble is not active in competition and no registration is therefore required. Many of the members also play for additional competing brass bands
Our Youth & Community Band is open to established and beginner youth and adult members. The Youth & Community Band is supported by awards from Pen Y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund and Ty Cerdd.
